Just finished Andy Griffith Season 3. Was very intrigued with Andy’s harem of women coming in and out of Mayberry. In the end of the season, Andy declares he is going after Miss Crump, the school teacher, and they become an item for a while. I also remember Miss Ellie as a suitor in Season 1.
To be honest, after meeting Peggy in Season 3 for only four episodes, I feel Andy messed up biiiiiig tahhhm (in Andy Taylor voice). In looking up Peggy’s background I just found out she was married to Ryan O’Neal and was the mother of Tatum...wow. Andy dun messed up big.

Driving home from the coast last weekend with the windows down and absorbing all the greenness of the verdant hills, the rice paddies triggered me into a memory in summer 2017. I remember it because it was the last summer I went home to visit Mom. It was mid-July and I was driving back from Fargo on my secret shortcut.
