Chopsticks and Life’s Simple Pleasures

執筆者の写真: Ryan DreesRyan Drees

Saw a lady on morning walk picking up garbage along the way with chopsticks. While I do have tongs I use on the beach, I can’t say I’ve ever considered bringing chopsticks on a walk.

I’d like to think over the past five decades, I’ve developed into a rational well-rounded person. I’ve put away silly childish thoughts and feelings. Then the Vikings will play on Sunday (Monday morning for me) and I regress to prepubescent boy who rejoices in their failures. I’m not proud but Viking (and one MLB team) losses can provide a long summer day’s warmth to my body and a springy bounce in my step.

Songs I’m listening to

Bob Dylan- Hurricane

Rolling Stones- Waiting on a Friend

Paul Westerberg- Waiting for Somebody
