Minneapolis sportswriter wrote about all the money Tokyo was counting from the Olympics. NY Post reported Tokyo would lose $30 billion. Someone didn’t do enough research.
Despite being a fuddy-duddy and not having much interest in Olympics, I’ve found the loss of the remote control a difficult transition to handle. Thus, having been forced to watch I’ve developed some opinions.
Favorites-
-Ono san in judo
-New events like surfing, BMX, skateboards, etc. (Thought I was a traditionalist)
Not So Favorites-
-Any event involving speed and strength (Think winner has been doping. Thanks Ben Johnson)
While watching 400m hurdles thought back to Edwin Moses. Won 122 races in a row over a nine year period.
